CAMPBRAIN TRANSITION

Did you know that we processed almost 950 registrations last year and expected to cross 1000 this year? Did you know that we have nearly 300 families in our database? Since our inception, we have utilized custom registration systems to keep costs down, but it has come to a point where we have to consider how can we accommodate future growth. So, over the past weeks, we have transitioned to CampBrain - a Canadian-based camp management system.

To ensure a smooth transition, we have created this page to share some important information.

BENEFITS

Improved overall camp registration experience: The registration process will feel like a proper camp registration system rather than a typical ecommerce experience.
Family account: By creating a family account, your family details will be carried over year-to-year. You can also review your current camp registration details at any time.
Receipts: You can log in at any time throughout the year to access your receipts for tax purposes.
Improve wait list system: Families will be able to add their names onto the wait list and be notified of openings more efficiently.
New payment method: Families can now choose to pay via EFT/bank-to-bank.

CHANGES

Surcharge: There will now be a 2% surcharge on all credit card payments. EFT/bank-to-bank payments will incur no surcharge.
Account registration: Families are required to create an account before they can register for our camps.
Tech support: Tech support is now provided by a third party. We will contact our supplier on your behalf if there are any technical issues we cannot assist you with. It will take some time to find a solution. We may not be able to provide a custom solution.
The system will also show you the programs are your child are eligible to register based on their age/grade. For example, if your child is 7 years old, you will also see the "Clubhouse Kids" program option, but a 9 years old child will see both kids and preteen programs.

Where can I find my receipts for the years before CampBrain? For receipts dated 2024 and earlier, please get in touch with us and we will email you a PDF copy.
Can I still register over the phone? Unfortunately, with this new system, everything has moved into the cloud. If you are having problems registering, please contact us.
Is the new EFT/Bank-to-bank payment safe? Yes! CampBrain is seeing more and more families utilize EFT to save money. You only give us the same information you would provide to receive a direct deposit.

Why is there a surcharge for credit card payments? By switching to a third-party camp registration system, our expenses have increased, including the cost of processing credit cards. We encourage families to consider EFT for a surcharge-free experience.
Do you have videos or other resources on how to use the new system? We are working hard to implement the new system, so we do not have additional support resources at this time. You can search "CampBrain" on YouTube to see how-to videos prepared by other camps that will function similarly to our process.
