WHAT DO WE DO: A typical day will start off with free play to accommodate late-arrivals. We usually end the day with free play for early pick-ups. Free play allows social interaction and development including skills such as conflict resolution, language development and making friends!
After the morning snack (provided by you), the PRETEENS group will head upstairs to their space in the Loft. All on-site activities will take place in the Loft where the focus is on leadership development. The preteens will return to the main room for pick-up.
The KIDS group will remain in the main room. The structured programming usually consist of interest-based activities, such as crafts, art, games, science, and music, to expose the children to potential areas of interests. In the afternoon, we tend to take the children off-site as much as possible. Activities can be as simple as going to nearby parks to taking part in recreational activities such as bowling, skating, and swimming. We have at least one all-day field trip per week.
Each child must bring their own lunch and snacks. Please also note that we are a nut-free zone so we may throw out food containing nuts to avoid allergic reactions. An occasional afternoon treat may be provided. We also ask parents to pack a water bottle and a change of clothes as we may head outside any moment to take advantage of the weather.
We travel to destinations via public transit or third-party school bus services. Camp fees include all transportation and attraction fees.
