Clubhouse Kids is a local community program of the Thriving Kids Care Society. We provide a highly relational program where children can develop their five dimensions of wellness (physical, emotional, mental, social, and spiritual) while instilling positive Christian character, morals and values through the activities. Our core values are as follows:
Here at Clubhouse, we develop our own curriculum with specific goals in mind for each child individually and the group as a whole. Our programming is based on Gardner's Theory of Multiple Intelligences. We ensure that each week covers all the areas so that the children can explore, develop and/or broaden their interests.
We also place an emphasis on strong and healthy social interactions by having a mixture of free play and structured activities. We impress on our caring leaders to also intentionally develop a mentoring relationship with the children. We have first-hand seen the transformation of what mentorship can do to young children.
Our programming is always evolving to remain relevant and effective. Feel free to share with us any feedback.
While all of our programs are developed internally, they are also influenced by High Five's five Principles of Healthy Child Development. Our senior staff are fully certified.

Clubhouse Kids operates according to our child protection policy, based on Winning Kids' Plan to Protect. Every worker and volunteer goes through training before they start and familiarize themselves with our injury and suspected abuse procedures. We also have a certified trainer on the team. In addition, we take the following steps:
Frequently Asked Questions
What languages do you conduct your activites in?
We are an English-only day camp. We always encourage English to the children even if they try to speak to us in a different language.
Are you religious?
We instil positive Christian character, morals, values and attitudes such as the need to love everyone, be compassionate, respect all, give generously and to always be thankful. We are not a "Bible" camp.
Is my child able to attend any of your programs because s/he is...?
We accept all children of all backgrounds into our programs. However, while we welcome your suggestions and discussions, we reserve the right to determine what is included in our programming. In addition, because we rent facility space, we may be restricted in accommodating special requests.
Do you accept children with special needs/disabilities?
We do our best to create a great experience for all children. As each child will have different needs, please contact us in discussing if and how we can make it work. Please understand that our staff may not have the formal special needs training, and because we rent facility space any modifications will be limited.
